WNYC Announces a New Era for
ALL OF IT WITH ALISON STEWART

Featuring an expanded slate of live events taking place at WNYC’s The Greene Space and at locations throughout New York City

New York, NY – September 1, 2026 –  Today WNYC is announcing the evolution of “All Of It with Alison Stewart,” with a refreshed daily broadcast program and an expansive series of live events celebrating the arts, culture and people who make New York the most vibrant city in the world.

This transformation builds on the success of programming such as the popular “Get Lit with All Of It” book club and “Broadway on the Radio” series as well as eight years of essential radio broadcasts and numerous sold-out live events across the city’s boroughs. With an increased demand for in-person experiences, “All Of It” transforms into an in-person platform for increased community engagement, bringing back these hallmark events and introducing new programs and community partnerships to live audiences this fall.

“Over the last few years, I’ve been thinking about ways that I could reach more New Yorkers and celebrate our city,” shared Alison Stewart. “WNYC has offered me so many opportunities for experimentation and growth for this program. I’m delighted by the audience’s response to the live events we’ve developed and I’m so excited to share what’s coming next.”

Every edition of the “Broadway on the Radio” live performance series has been presented to a standing room only audience in WNYC’s The Greene Space, with thousands of viewers tuning in worldwide via YouTube. Now returning on a regular cadence, the next edition of “Broadway on the Radio” will take place on September 18 with the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical “Schmigadoon.”

“Get Lit with All Of It,” a partnership with the New York Public Library, will kick off its new season with George Saunders’ “Lincoln in the Bardo,” tied to the Metropolitan Opera’s world premiere of composer Missy Mazzoli and librettist Royce Vavrek’s adaptation of the novel. Stewart will host a free conversation with Saunders accompanied by performances from the Met Opera cast at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library on September 30.

“Analog Night with All Of It,” a new series of communal craft nights in The Greene Space, will launch on November 9. This series will invite experts and hobbyists alike to move away from digital obsessions and to share in the joys of in-person connection and making something by hand. Additional live events will be announced throughout the fall.

“Alison’s show has become a must-do for writers, actors, and artists and a must-listen for anyone who likes insight into arts and culture and the people who make it. Our live events are fun and exciting because Alison, the guests and the listeners all get an opportunity to connect in real life,” said Megan Ryan, Head of Live Radio. “The show is about all the great things to go out and see and hear and do, so it makes sense that we are out there creating special events and inviting the All Of It community to come join us.”

“All Of It” will continue its daily weekday live broadcasts at 12pm ET, shifting to a one-hour broadcast format. An additional weekend edition of the program is in development for future release. WNYC’s new fall schedule, reflecting this change as well as new programming, will go into effect on September 14.

Broadway on the Radio’s Fall 2026 season kicks off with this year’s Tony winner for Best Musical! The stars of Broadway’s “Schmigadoon” join Alison Stewart live in The Greene Space at WNYC. The event will include performances and discussion with the cast and creative team, including Ann Harada, Brad Oscar, Maulik Pancholy and Jennifer Simard.

Welcome to Schmigadoon — the magical town where every day is a musical. Everybody has a song for everything, and the only bridge out of town leads nowhere. When one couple accidentally wanders in, they discover the only escape is finding true love — which may or may not be with each other.

“All Of It” will spend the month of September with George Saunders’ Booker Prize-winning novel, “Lincoln in the Bardo.” The book follows President Abraham Lincoln as he struggles in the aftermath of his son Willie’s death, and the ghosts and spirits that occupy the liminal space between life and death.

This month-long book club culminates in an interview and book signing with Saunders, as well as special performances from cast members from the Metropolitan Opera’s world-premiere adaptation of the novel.

The new American cast of Broadway’s “Operation Mincemeat” joins Alison Stewart live in The Greene Space at WNYC. The event will include performances and discussion with Brandon Contreras (Charles Cholmondeley), Jessi Kirtley (Jean Leslie), Amanda Jill Robinson (Johnny Bevan), Jeff Kready (Hester Leggatt), and Julia Knitel (Ewen Montagu).
