New York Public Radio consists of WNYC AM/FM, WQXR-FM, and the Jerome L. Greene Performance Space. Both stations deliver an estimated 1.8+ million listeners per week in the tri-state area and afford sponsors unrivaled possibilities in reaching listeners who are peerless in the New York market in terms of affluence, education, and cultural activity.

WNYC AM/FM maintains a busy newsroom and its award winning reporters contribute to local news broadcasts and to national news programs Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Marketplace, as well as The Takeaway, a groundbreaking news show produced by WNYC. Weekend highlights include Weekend Edition, Car Talk, A Prairie Home Companion, and This American Life. WNYC’s award winning shows include signature daily programs The Brian Lehrer Show, The Leonard Lopate Show, Soundcheck, and New Sounds; as well as the nationally distributed programs Radiolab, On the Media, Studio 360, Freakonomics, and Selected Shorts. WNYC.org presents all these programs via streaming and keeps WNYC listeners up to date on all station activities.

WQXR-FM is New York City’s only dedicated classical music station presenting new and landmark classical recordings, as well as broadcasts of performances from the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Philharmonic, and other New York City venues, immersing listeners in the city’s rich musical life. WQXR.org also hosts Q2, a webstream dedicated to the discovery of exceptional music off the beaten track.

New Jersey Public Radio (NJPR), comprised of the four former NJN stations acquired by New York Public Radio in June 2011 – WNJT 88.1 FM-Trenton, WNJP 88.5 FM-Sussex, WNJY 89.3 FM-Netcong, and WNJO 90.3 FM-Toms River – features a morning drive-time host exclusive to NJPR and WNYC’s Peabody Award-winning public affairs program hosted by Brian Lehrer, whose frequent coverage of New Jersey issues earned him the Garden State Journalist Association Award for “Best Radio Host” in 2009.  NJPR will have access to the state and regional reporting from Bob Hennelly and other reporters from WNYC’s award-winning newsroom (also part of New York Public Radio).

The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space is one of the new destinations for the city’s incomparable arts and culture scene. The Greene Space is a state of the art, multi media, multi purpose performance space and broadcast studio at street level on the corner of Varick and Charlton Streets. Both WNYC and WQXR produce content for live, radio and web audiences at The Greene Space. The Greene Space hosts live broadcasts of WNYC programs, concerts and festivals from WQXR; audio theater, literary readings, art exhibits, political debates and other events that welcome the public.

Sponsorships are available in all genres of New York Public Radio. On-air and online sponsorships are available both locally and nationally on both stations. Podcasting opportunities are available for Freakonomics, Radiolab, The Takeaway, On the Media, and Studio 360. Greene Space events can also be underwriten.
